The ship Navarino made Numerous Voyages to the Australian Colonies in the 19th Century

The Navarino a ship sometimes listed as barque weighing between 463 - 493 tons; was built in Cochin on the coast of Malabar, India in 1808. Rebuilt firstly 1929 in Calcutta & later in 1834-5 by Nahno in the Province of Amherst, for T. Ward. Registered in London in 1841 & 1843.

1830's Voyages

From Blackwall on 24 August, 1837 via Gravesend on the other side of London on 26 August 1837 - initially arriving at Nepean Bay, Kangaroo Island, on 30 November 1837. Then finally to Adelaide on 6 December 1837. Captain Christopher Abel Warming.
From Cork, Ireland on Saturday, May 11, 1839 - arriving at Sydney, New South Wales on Saturday, August 17, 1839. Captain Warming.
