Nelson

Built: Originally large Spanish Schooner Casulidad, prize to Charles Mary Wentworth, Purchased and re-rigged from schooner to brigantine in October 1799. She had an impressive reputation for speed, but had some bad luck as a privateering vessel, losing some expensive court cases.
