An attempt at a list of online searchable indexes of Newspapers in the Netherlands, perhaps also including more general searchable resources.
- (free) Kranten van Toen
- Kranten van Toen (Newspapers from Yesteryear) is an online collaboration between several newspapers from the north of the Netherlands (Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe) and the Regional Historical Centre. It is the larges online database of newspapers in the Netherlands.
- The archive of the Leeuwarder Courant dates back to 1752, while the database of the Dagblad van het Noorden is still under construction but will soon be available to 1888.
- The site contains a Quick Search, an Extensive Search as well as old maps and a webshop to order any picture from any paper in the database.
