  • An 1894 newspaper article reported that the oldest graveyard in the Drumquin area was the "graveyard of Magharenny" which was on the property of Robert Nethery sen.[1]
  • Annie Anthony, wife of John J. Anthony, butcher of Derry, dies 1898 after an operation. Daughter of the late Robert Nethery, Magharenny.[2]Another article says "...est daughter" but the left margin is cut off :(
  • In 1909 Margaret Nethery of Magharenny brings a court case; her son was called Robert.[3]
