Just realized that you are descended from Anne through her son Thomas Yale. Great lineage on Anne's parents and your Yale line.

We truly are blessed to have had them as ancestors. Have you ever read the info about Anne Tyler Calabresi (a descendant through the Yale line) and the play 'The Two Annes' that she wrote? Linda A. Maples

I did read an article on Anne Tyler Calabresi in the New Haven Independant https://www.newhavenindependent.org/article/a_tale_of_two_annes. I think you pointed it out to me. And, yes, she makes a truly notable ancestor.

Hi Anne, thanks for your comment almost a year ago.

I now have a certified genie working on my application. He has transcribed Gov. T. Eaton's will - it took him many hours.

As soon as the application is in my hands, I will try to figure out a way to copy to Gov. Eaton's profile page.

Sincerely, Linda Alcott Maples

Great that you got his will transcribed. Unless his will is short, we should put it on a free space page. Make sure you get permission from the transcriber. If you need help let me know.

Hi to The New Haven Colony One Place Study,

I am wondering if there is a transcription of Governor Theophilus Eaton's will.

I am working on a supplemental on Ann Lloyd Eaton for Colonial Dames of the Seventeenth Century (CD17thC). I have a copy of Eaton's will but trying to avoid having to transcribe it as my eyes will not hold up to the strain of reading and transcribing Governor Eaton's will

The CD17thC has the new category for qualification - Dower Lands.

Thanks so much.

As far as I know there is not. The records mention it but do not transcribe it.
