About Profile Improvers
- Sourcerers - find sources for profiles. The idea is to provide a source for each fact on a profile, but even one source helps to orientate genealogists to the profile and confirms the person's existence. Family tree sources are not acceptable, and preferably contemporaneous sources such as baptisms, births, marriages, deaths, burials or wills are the preferred standard.
- Biography Builders make profiles as complete as possible with well-written biographies and sources. They research as much as they can find on a person, writing the information onto the profiles to create complete a life story for a person. They include categories and links to events and people connected to that profile and cite all those additions.
- Connectors - connect up loose profiles or branches to our global family WikiTree - our (you know someone is connected if their profile has the section at the bottom of their profile after Matches and Merges showing their connection to various people.
- Data Doctors improve profiles on WikiTree by working on suggestions identified in the database. see New Zealand Data Doctors for suggestions and information.

- If you want to gain confidence on WikiTree, think about joining up to the Profile Improvement Project and embarking on the Profile Improvements Project (PIP) Voyage. Working on profiles from your own watchlist, an experienced member, called a Voyage Guide, will support you to learn a range of new skills. Some Voyage Guides may have experience working with New Zealand sources and doing New Zealand genealogical research, but the main focus of the PIP voyage is on improving your profiles, so they are complete, factual, interesting, .... and look great.

(If you want to add that gorgeous new image to those older space pages, feel free. I am not married to the silver fern and Milford Sound images. I just wanted something that said "New Zealand", and "these pages are all linked".)
