Welcome to the Newfoundland Team, a sub-team of the Atlantic Canada Team which is a part of the Canada Project, and works on a number of topics relevant to genealogy in the current Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Tucker, Hart and Buckler families from Burnt Point, Hants harbor and New Chelsea in Conception Bay and Trinity Bay.

[Living Foote]
I'd like to join! I am a Foote and my cousins still live there. Both of my grandfathers (Foote and Rowe) and my paternal grandmother (Nolan) hail from Burin. Originally, there was a Foote's cove but it was renamed by the Parsons, I believe. Anyway, I've visited twice and wish I could move there now! I keep my family tree on Ancestry.com. I am an international member, if you need me to look something up for you. I will need to build up this site's tree!
