How to Proceed

  1. Search for an orphaned profile.
  2. Click through to the profile. Check to make sure that:
    1. It does not have a profile manager.
    2. ALL dates must be within the relevant range (1700-1799).
    3. ALL locations for birth, marriage and death must be in the country you chose.
    4. There are family links (at least one parent and/or spouse; children are a bonus).
    5. There is no more than one source.
  3. Set up the profile for your Explorer by adding the Nordic Trail image to the profile. You do this by adding the following to the profile: {{Image|file=Nordic_Project_Images.jpg |align=l |size=m |caption=Nordic Trail Explorer Image }}
  4. Please only send one name at a time, and include a link to the profile with the Wiki-ID.
  5. Remember, you won't step on any toes, because it's an orphaned profile without a profile manager.
