General Notes
- Check Project Management Request Spreadsheet to see if new requests for project management need to be processed.
- Category: Notables Project Maintenance Categories
- IF:Notable NOT on NP TL and NOT eligible to be opened, add details to Spreadsheet 1.
- IF:Notable NOT on NP TL and IS eligible to be opened, send TL request (below).

Reviewing Procedure
3 or more Wikipedia
- Open profile and Wikidata pages (in main browser) from spreadsheet 2.
- Go to Notables Project a/c (in separate browser) and open the profile.
- Add yourself to TL.
- Close profile and return to main browser.
- Check WikiData and Wikipedia
- Add WT ID to Wikidata if missing.
- Review WP eligibility. (If deceased, see below.)
- If Ineligible to open:
- Add Wikipedia and WikiData links if missing.
- Project Box, research note (reason for ineligibility), Category: Notables Project, Unlisted Review Complete 2024
- IF NP not a PM, add to list on Space:Unlisted_Living_Notables_Not_Managed_by_Notables_Project
- Check any family need reviewing.
- Add comment to spreadsheet.
- Remove yourself from TL.
- If Eligible to open:
- Add Wikipedia and WikiData links if missing.
- Project Box, no review categories, Statement of Notability, "Needs Bio" category (if needed),
- Check biography for mention of living family members and change names to generic words.
- Check any family need reviewing.
- Add Russell, Scott, David as PM (from Project a/c), send private message to Russell, Scott, David to open and PPP (from own a/c).
- IF NP not a PM, add to list on Space:Unlisted_Living_Notables_Not_Managed_by_Notables_Project and send private message to managing Project (from Project a/c).
- Add comment to spreadsheet.
- Remove yourself from TL.
0 Wikipedia
- Open profile and Wikidata pages from spreadsheet 2.
- Go to NP a/c (in separate browser) and open the profile.
- Add yourself to TL.
- Close profiles and return to main browser.
- Check WikiData and Wikipedia
- Add WT ID to Wikidata if missing.
- Review WP eligibility. (If deceased, see below.)
- If Family of a Living Notable:
- No project box, no sticker, research note (family of ......), Category: Notables Project, Family Members
- Check any other family need reviewing.
- Add comment to spreadsheet.
- Remove yourself from TL.
- If Not family and non-notable:
- No project box, no sticker, research note (Non-notable, no Wikipedia page), Category: Notables Project, Needs Administration Review (Caution: Causes Deletion)
- If unsure if notable, add Category: Notables Project, Needs Notability Review
- Add comment to spreadsheet.
- Remove yourself from TL.
If Deceased
- If deceased, change privacy to open/white, if PPP, add leader as PM and send message to leader to remove PPP.
- If unable to change privacy to white because Notables is only on the trusted list, add the "Need privacy level review" category.
- If deceased BEFORE January 1, 2023, change the Notables box to sticker and remove Notables as PM.
- If deceased AFTER January 1, 2023, keep the Notables box and leave Notables as PM.
Note that anytime Notables is only on the TL, there should only be a sticker.
New Notable Profile Process
- Review WP eligibility.
- Send TL Request plus request to upgrade NP to PM. (below)
- Once NP is PM (check on Project Activity Feed?), add self to TL of profile.
- Add WT ID to Wikidata if missing.
- Add Wikipedia and WikiData links if missing.
- Project Box, no review categories, Statement of Notability, add Russell, Scott, David as PM, send private message to Russell, Scott, David to open and PPP.
- Check any family need reviewing.
- Remove yourself from TL.
- Bold the name on the Management Request Spreadsheet, to indicate completed.
Yellow Privacy Profiles
- If on review, any opened Yellow Privacy profiles are found to be NOT qualified to be opened, contact a Project leader to remove the PPP and close the profile.
Trusted List Request (New Profiles)
The Notables Project has approved your request for project management.
Please accept this trusted list request. Once approved, please add the Notables Project as a profile manager, by following these steps:
1. On the profile, click on the tab that indicates "Privacy", (to the right of the "Changes" tab).
2. Scroll down until you see the email for the Notables Project.
3. Click on where it indicates to "Add as Manager" to the right of the email address for the Notables Project.
A few items for you to complete:
1. Add the Notables Project box above the == Biography == heading.
2. Have a statement of notability.
3. Ensure Wikipedia and WikiData are on the profile.
4. Do not mention the names of living individuals unless the individuals have Wikitree pages that you can currently view.

Steps for Adding the Notables Project as a Profile Co-Manager
- Part I - Add to the Trusted List
- 1) On the Notable's profile page, click the green Privacy tab at the top of the page.
- 2) Scroll about halfway down the page to the section called "Add to Trusted List".
- 3) Type the Notables Project's email address (below) in the box and click "Add the Person"
- The Project is now on the Trusted List.
- Part II - Promoting to Comanager
- 4) Now go back to the Trusted List and look for the Project's name.
- 5) To the far right of our name, click "Add as Manager".
- The Notables Project will now be a Comanager and should appear as such on the main profile page.
