Profiles Work in Progress

There are many nurses' profiles on WikiTree ready for work shown in the tables below. The work is in progress once a member adopts a nurse. We have a way to track the profiles undergoing cosmetic enhancements.
  • First, leave a comment on this page or private message to a Profile Manager, and identify the nurse (by name and profile link) you want to work on.
  • Next, please copy and paste this image's code at the top of the profile's Edit box to alert others. By including the four tildes (~~~~), your WikiTree ID and date the image is placed, and you are assigned to the profile:
  • The code to copy and shows in the selected profile's Edit box:
{{Image|file=Civil_War_Nurses_Images-9.jpg|align=c|size=300|caption='''This profile is undergoing a heath check-up. '''<br> '''''Please maintain distance and do not touch while this message is here.'''''<br> ~~~~}}

  • The image and text appears on the profile as:
This profile is undergoing a heath check-up.
Please maintain distance and do not touch while this message is here.

Nurses in the US Civil War Era Profiles

Tables Key

The checklist tables below are alphabetical by Current Last Name. The headings are defined:
  • Nurse Profile = nurse's name and link to the WikiTree profile;
  • Personal/Service Information = this is a consolidation of the FamilySearch (FS) profile (FSTFID), Wikipedia and other articles, and the Personal & Service Information from the research on the Nurses Identified page.
  • Memorial = this column links the FindAGrave Memorial entered in the template format.
  • Sources Added = "Yes" indicates that at least birth and death sources are correct and linked. "Needs work" indicates that there are no birth or death sources (minimum), or the sources are not linked or imaged in the profile.
  • Bio Complete = "Yes" indicates a well-written narrative based on the profiles' standards goal. "Needs work" indicates there is some bio info.
See an exemplary profile here.
  • Connected = "Yes" indicates the profile is connected to WikiTree's one-world tree. If the column is blank, connection is needed.
  • Categories Added = "Yes" indicates that the [[Category: Nurses, United States Civil War]] is added to the profile. This should be on all nurses' profiles. Birth, marriage and death life event categories, as well as census residences, and interment cemetery are great to have also.
  • Bio-Building Notes - additional work is needed, PPP, questions or issues with the profile = this section explains any of the above, or other issues about the profile. PPP (Project Protected Profile) indicates the project that manages the profile.
  • WTX bio = Using WikiTree X on the FamilySearch (FS) Profile, the profile facts from the sources attached to the FS Profile have been imported from FamilySearch. This is a good start, and more work needs to be done to create the biography. Tip: check and import the sources from the profile links.
  • Any blanks in any column, except Bio-Building Notes, means that work needs to be done in the WikiTree profile.
