Ocean View Burial Park was initially founded as Burnaby’s first cemetery in 1919 (SCI Management, 2012). It wasn’t until nearly 70 years later when the cemetery began running a funeral service that specialized in providing families of the recently deceased with compassionate and professional care. Spanning over 89 acres of land, Ocean View Burial Park occupies pristine land in Burnaby filled with luscious grasslands, two mausoleums and a chapel for contemplation and prayer. Ocean View Burial Park, similar to the Forest Lawn Cemetery, is a proud member of Dignity Memorial, and provides the same level of service that is performed by its Burnaby counterpart. Providing an unprecedented level of service, Ocean View Burial Park provides services in French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Philipino, Croatian, Italian, Japanese and Korean. The interactive map below illustrates the extent of the Ocean View Burial Park showing features such as parking, areas of future development and images of attractive locations.
