Old Tailem Town Pioneer Village Cemetery

Old Tailem Town was first established in 1982 with the doors opening to the public in 1987. The township itself has more than 100 authentic buildings, all transported from various locations across the country.

The town is located approximately 99 kilometres east of Adelaide on the A1 ( Princes Highway) between Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend at 35° 13' South, 139° 25' east

The graveyard next to the church was made with old tombstones from the Payneham cemetery. The grave leases had expired and the tombstones would have been destroyed if not relocated here.

The cemetery has two sections one either side of the Church
