Background

Denmark was one of the 14 nations to compete at the 1st modern Olympic Games in 1896 in Athens, Greece. Denmark has competed at every Summer Olympic Games with the exception of the 1904 Olympics in St. Louis, Missouri. Denmark's 1st appearance at the Winter Olympics was in 1948, but did not send athletes again until 1988.^[1] Denmark has won a total of 206 medals, including 48 gold medals. Denmark has been most dominant in sailing.^[2]

This is an ongoing project to ensure that all Olympians who represented Denmark are on Wikitree.
