Background

Greece was the host nation of the 1st modern Olympic Games in 1896 in Athens. Greece has competed at every Summer Olympic Games. Greece first appeared at the Winter Olympics in 1936, and has competed in every other Winter Olympics, except for in 1960. Greece has won 121 medals, including 35 gold medals. 47 of the total medals were won in 1896.^[1][2]

This is an ongoing project to ensure that all Olympians who represented Greece are on Wikitree.

Process

2. Add specific categories
