Background

Spain's 1st appearance at the Olympics was at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Then, Spain didn't send athletes again until 1920, and has competed at all the Summer Games since then, except for in 1936. Spain made its' first appearance at the Winter Olympics in 1936, and has competed in all the Winter Games after that. Spain has won a total of 174 medals, including 49 gold medals. Spain has won the most medals in sailing.^[1][2]

This is an ongoing project to ensure that all Olympians who represented Spain are on Wikitree.
