Olympics - Team Bermuda
Background
Bermuda first entered international competition in 1930 at the British Empire Games, in Canada. Following this, a National Olympic Committee (NOC) was formed in 1935, and International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognition was granted on 13 February 1936, at the IOC session in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Bermuda has competed at the Olympic Games since 1936, failing to appear only in 1980.
Bermuda first competed at the Olympic Winter Games in 1992 and has competed at every Olympic Winter Games since, failing to appear at Beijing 2022. However, it has been represented by only three men to date, with no female Winter Olympians, and has never had more than one competitor at an Olympic Winter Games.
Bermudian athletes have won two medals: a bronze medal in boxing in 1976, by Clarence Hill, and the first gold medal in triathlon at Tokyo 2020, by Flora Duffy.[1]
This is an ongoing project to ensure that all Olympians who represented Lithuania are on Wikitree.
