Background

Pakistan first competed at the Olympic Games in 1948. It did not attend the 1980 Moscow Olympics, but has attended all Games since.

Pakistan owes almost its entire Olympic success to one sport – hockey (field) – earning eight of its 10 Olympic medals in that sport, and all three golds ever won by the nation. It won a medal in hockey at every celebration from 1956 through 1984^[1]

This is an ongoing project to ensure that all Olympians who represented Pakistan are on Wikitree.
