My great-grandmother was Clara Mae Palmer. She was born in Black Rock, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada 29 Feb 1884. Her father was Joel P. Palmer and her mother were Sarah Ann Barnaby. When Joel Palmer died in 1884 in a car accident?, the same year, Clara was born, her mother Sarah married Willard Harvey Rudolph leaving Clara with her aunt, Minnie Delight Benjamin. Sarah Ann Barnaby Palmer Rudolph and Willard Rudolph had a daughter named Myrtle May Rudolph born 04 Feb 1887 in Nova Scotia, Canada. She married Hugh Ernest West who was born in 1870 in Waterville, Nova Scotia, Canada. They settled in Massachusetts and had four children.
