In the name of God amen
I William Parker of Cheadle in the County of Stafford Esqr being weake in body but of perfect memory and understanding and knowing the certainty of death but the uncertainty of the time thereof Doe make this my last will & testament in manner & following hereby revoking all former & other wills be mee made
And First & principally I commend my soul into the hands of almighty God my Creatour hopeing for mercy & acceptance with him in & through the alone meritts & mediation of my blessed savior & redeemer Christ Jesus and my body I comit to the earth to be decently buryed att the discretion of my Executor hereafter named in hopes I shall receive the same againe a glorious body att the last day
And for the estate it hath pleased almighty God in mercy to give mee I dispose therof as followeth videlt
I give & bequeath to my daughter Bridgett Parker the summe of six hundred & fifty pounds of lawfull English money to be paid her either in specie or by the assignment of bonds morgages or other securityes for money belonging to mee within one month after my decease and I doe also give to my said daughter all my goods & household stuff of what nature or kind soever (except my two best beds)
And for the rest & residue of my estate I give & devise the same after my debts legacyes & funeral expenses are discharged to my son George Parker Esqr whom I Doe make sole Executor of this my last will & testament
In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale the 8th day of July In the first year of our soveraigne Lady Queene Anne over England etc. Annoque Dm 1702
