Notes from Patricia Martin Hall (4th great granddaughter of Valentine Lohr)

Valentine Lohr/Lore's father on Wiki Tree are two different men. The information for these two men had not been verified beyond Valentine's birth date of 1739.

The first George Michael Lohr Source used: https://www.genealogy.com/ftm/l/e/m/Mary-Leming-KY/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-1181.html The only information related to George Michael Lohr is he arrived on the Neptune in 1754. He could not be Valentine's father as he was born 1729 in Germany per find a grave. The other information on Genealogy.com was from Valentine's grave and most likely copied from other profiles.

I followed Genealogy.com for Mary Leming and found we have the same great grand father Daniel Winfield Lohr (Lohr-534). his son William Stephen Lohr(Lohr-533) and then his daughter Myrtle Alma Lohr (Lohr-768) married into the Albert family.

The Second Michael Lauer see for correct information is Valentine Lauer's father. Information for Michael Lohr/Lore is found in The Heritage of Davidson County written by Richard L Conrad ( 1935-2012 5th great grandson of Valentine Lohr/Lore) along with his father Henry Phillip Conrad (1897-1962), grandfather Alex Lafayette (1859-1899) Son of Rachel Lore Conrad(1826-1901) .

Source: The Heritage of Davidson County (see attached picture) was published in 1982 The article was written by Richard L Conrad ( 1935-2012 5th great grandson of Valentine Lohr/Lore) his father Henry Phillip Conrad (1897-1962), grandfather Alex Lafayette (1859-1899) Son of Rachel Lore Conrad(1826-1901) and several other members of the Lohr family supplied much of the information to him. Richard Conrad also wrote two books that is in the Davidson County Library in Lexington NC. One is for the Conrad Family the other Is the Edinger family. The Book The Heritage of Davidson County is also in The Davidson County Library in Lexington. He had spent his life time researching his family history. He dedicated a book to his son Phillip Stewart Conrad II because he had missed his "growing up".

Evelyn Neiswanger birth date has been given as 1720 born in Germany. At the end of the article in The Heritage of Davidson County it states "It is strongly believed that Valentine's wife was Evelyn Neischwanger (1752-1827). It should have read his mother. (The dates are Eve Lohr, Valentine's wife's birth/death was 1752-1827.) Evelyn Neiswanger can not be verified in Germany or the United States.

Anna Barbra Frey Lauer is Valentine's mother. See attached birth records for no first name Lauer.
