They lived in Dublin , Ireland , Story has it that Peter Purdue came from France and setup business in Dublin, they made riding boots and saddles, Later they manufactered shoes in Summerhill Dublin. and had shoe repair shops around Dublin Annie Purdue married Joseph Wixted 11th July 1904, Joseph went to war volunteered for the Great War 1914 , but unfortunately ge was killed in Ypres, Belgium it's to honour his life that I am posting this .

Later on Annie re-married to James Westwood , She died in 1943

This was dated 1228, in the tax rolls known as the "Feet of Fines" for Suffolk. during the reign of King Henry III, 1216 - 1272.
