- Mary Polly Norton - the major question is what was her surname at birth; ordered the book First Families of Tennessee from interlibrary loan on 1 Apr 2022 to investigate whether there were any Norton's known to be living in east Tennessee circa 1782 when she was born
- Jacob Hartsell (brother of Abraham Hartsell) - requested on 17 Apr 2022 via interlibrary loan a book entitled: "The "J. Hartsell memora" : the journal of a Tennessee captain in the War of 1812", Jacob Hartsell; Mary Hardin McCown, editor, East Tennessee Historical Society's publications. N.11 (1939)-N.12 (1940). This appears to be, as the title suggests, a memoir written by Jacob Hartsell about his experiences during the War of 1812. There are genealogical records that he was indeed a Captain in the 2nd Regiment, East Tennessee Voluteers during the War of of 1812. Hopefully, it will also have significant genealogical information about him & his family.
