Transcript of the Administration of the Estate of Henry PIM
(1804 - 1868)
ON the 15th day of July 1869
Letters of Administration of all and singular the personal Estate and Effects of
Henry Pim late of No. 2 New Ormond Street, Grays Inn Road in the County of Middlesex, Gentleman deceased,
who died on the
1st day of November 1868 at No. 2 New Ormond Street, aforesaid a widower and intestate,
were granted at the Principal Registry of Her Majesty's Court of Probate to
Sarah Fanny White (wife of Thomas White) of Godalming in the County of Surrey the natural and lawful daughter and only next of Kin of the said deceased
she having been first sworn duly to administer
Effects under £ 450
Notes:
1. Henry Pim apparently was living at a good address off the Gray's Inn Road, but it turns out that this was a lodging house and it looks as if he died a rather lonely old man.
2. I tried to get the Death Duty Record for this administration, but am advised that the PRO has lost the indexes for the years in question, thus no sensible search can be undertaken for them.
