Information: Also known as Wesleyan Methodist (Old) Cemetery, Pioneer Park is located at the site of a Methodist Cemetery. Overlooking the Otonabee River, it is at the southwest corner of George and Hilliard Streets.

This cemetery was established to replace the old Methodist Cemetery located in Confederation Park. Many of the remains from the older cemetery were reinterred here. When this cemetery closed in 1875, some of it's remains were transferred to Little Lake Cemetery. The majority of the gravestones have disappeared under the sod.
