History: In the early 1820's, the Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church was established including a section of the church house where the slave owners encouraged their slaves to participate in church life. At the end of the Civil War, it was determined that there should be two churches established. The cemetery was established in 1901 to serve the African-American community.
This cemetery was surveyed by Winifred M. "Winnie" & William A. "Bill" Steadley-Campbell in 1994.
