The Examination of Susannah Lansdown wife of Isaac touching(?) the settlement of her 3 Children by a former Husband of Middlesex to which this Examination on her oath saith that in the month of May 1791 she was married in the parish Church of St Luke Middlesex to one John Lindeman by trade a weaver and who gained a settlement in the Liberty of Norton Folgate in the county of Middlesex by his lodging with this Examinants mother in the house of Loo(?) street No. 14 in the said Liberty for the last 16 months of his Apprenticeship he being then married to this Examinant & That he was Bound Apprentice to one Jas Gant of Anchor St in the parish of Saint Matthew Bethnal Green weaver and served his said master there for some time but how long cannot say and slept at his Fathers House in Vine(?) Street in the parish of Christ Church. And was afterwards turned over to Samuel Thos of Bethnal Green 70(?) weaver. And served his said Master there his Apprenticeship out (save 10 months during which time he paid his master 6 shillings per week and lodged for such 10 months as above stated Hath by him 3 children Namely Elizabeth aged 10 years - John aged 8 years - and Sarah aged 5 years upwards that the officers of the Liberty of Norton Folgate allow this Examinant 3/6 ?? weeks for the said three children.
