1 Isaaac Jester and wife power of atorney to Thos Macy
2 Know all men by these presents that whereas I, Isaac Jester of the
3 County of Miami and the State of Ohio are [said] in fee off and in all that
4 [Managed] lands and Tenaments situate lying and being in the County of
5 Guilford in the state of North Carolina on the waters of Deep River [on one]
6 [ss ing] one [S ---] of Sixty Acres Beginning at a Hickory on [Com
7 at] in line [--ing] west one hundred and sixty poles to a hickory then
8 North sixty poles to a Hickory on Smith Moores line then East one

1 Hundred and sixty poles to a Stone on Willim Couch's
2 Corner thence South to the first Station containing sixty acres Now
3 know ye that I the said Isaac Jester have made constitutes and appointed
4 and by these presents do make constitute and appoint Thomas Macy of the
5 County of Miami and State of Ohio my True and Lawfull attorney for me and
6 in my name to sell, grant and convey the above Discribed tract of
7 Land absolutely in fee simple for such price or Sums of money and to such
8 persons or person as he shall think fit and Con[oiniant] and also for me
9 and in my name to sell execute and deliver such deed con-
10 veyances bargains and seals for the absolute sale and disposal thereof
11 or of any part thereof with such Clauses Covenants and agreements to
12 be therein contained as my said attorney shall think felt and as
13 hereby [satisfying] and confirming all such deeds convayan-
14 es bargains or seals which shall at any time here after be sealed and
15 executed by my said attorney touching or conveyancing the premises Etc
16 in witness whereof the said Isaac Jester togather with Elizabeth
17 his wife have herewith set their hands and seals this 30th day of September
18 one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.
