The Wrightsborough settlement (to the northwest of Augusta) was organized under Quaker leadership in 1768. Most passengers on the Prince of Wales in 1734 joined the Salzburger settlement of Ebenezer (slightly north of Savannah). The ship also carried Swiss settlers bound for Purrysburgh SC, as well as the Yamacraw/Creek Indian delegation returning from London.
