To the Honorable
Edwin Rust Judge of the Probate Court of
Law Court

The petition of William C Bibb
respectfully appoints unto your Honor that
by an order of the Judge of Probate of the
County of Montgomery in said State made
on the 11th of May 1852 your Petitioner
was appointed Guardian of one Elvira
C. Sims a minor, the only child and
heir at law of John C. Sims deceased
and that in pursuance of said order, Letters
of Guardianship were on this same day
sent to your Petitioner. Your Petitioner
further represents that the said John
C. Sims departed this life on the <blank> day
1836 that on the 3rd day of December
1836 Letter of administration issued
out of the County Court of Mobile to
one Aaron Ready and Elvira Mae Sims, widow of said J.C.Sims all the
goods & chattels, rights and credits
which were of the said John C. Sims
at the time of his death that said Aaron
Ready and Elvira M Sims qualified
as adminstrator and administratix of
said Estate on the said 5 day of December
1836 and gave ? with James Paul
,B.B. Fontaine as executers that
a short time after said qualification
the said Elvira M Sims departed this
life and that said Aaron Ready received
and took possession of all the estate
of the said John C Sims deceased.

Your petitioner further represents that
he has been informed and believes and
therefore alleges that said Aaron
Ready as administrator as foresaid
received and took into his possession
twelve negro slaves, all the household
and kitchen furniture, and a carriage
and two horses, which were of the said
John C Sims that said Aaron Ready
as adminstrator as aforesaid also
has possession of a house and lot
on the corner of St Anthony & Soachem
Streets in the City of Mobile which was
also the property of the said John C
Sims deceased that said Aaron Ready
sold eleven of said negro slaves as
your petitioner hath been informed and
believes attests or alleges continue
in the years 1837 or 1838 and also sold in the
same year the household and
kitchen furniture of said J.C. Sims
deceased, and the said sale amounted
to the sum of Nine Thousand Nine
Hundred dollars. Your Petitioner
further represents that the said Aaron
Ready hired out the remaining one of
said slaves viz a negro woman
named Sukey from the time of the
death of said John C Sims in 1836
to the term of the death of said Aaron
Ready which took place about
the month of February 1852 that
the aggregate annual hire of said negro woman
with the interest therein amounts to a said
sum of money to wit <illegible> dollars

Your petitioner further represents that
said Aaron Ready deceased as administrator
of foresaid large sums as the Rent
of the house and lot aforesaid
Your petitioner cannot now specify
other property, money received by said Ready
as such administrator. Petitioner
represents and charges that said
Aaron Ready never filed any account
or made any settlement of his affairs
as such administrator in the County
or Probate Court of Mobile that
the records of said Court discloses
nothing as to his contract as such
adminstrator that from the time
of his qualification as administrator
in 1836 to his death in 1852
he no account as adminstra=
tor, and your petitioner alleges that
he appropriated to his own use all
of the property & money
to said estate
Your petitioner further represents
that after the death of said Aaron
Ready Letter of administrations
issued in the month of
March or April last out of the
Probate Court of Chattooga? County
to one Abram Martin of Montgomery county
and to Oliva M Ready of Coosa County in said state, widow of said Aaron Ready
upon teh estate of said Ready and
that said Martin & Olivia M Ready have filed their
bond and qualified as such admininstra=
tors & administratrix and now your petitioner herein
alleges that said Ready as adminstra=
tor of John C Sims deceased did not

settle his accounts as adminstrator before
his death comes now and prays your Honor
to compel and order the said Abram
Martin & Olivia M Ready adminstrator & administratix, of said Ready's
estate to come forward as such times
as your Honor may request to make
settlement of the adminstration of their
said intitled Aaron Ready, upon the
estate of said John C. Sims and your
petitioner will ever pray
