This is a One Name Study to collect together in one place everything about the surname PULVERMACHER and the possible variants of that surname. The hope is that other researchers will join to help make it a valuable reference point for people studying PULVERMACHER lines that cross or intersect. The goal of this project is to trace the descendants of the PULVERMACHER immigrants from the Rhineland in the 1800s to the United States, particularly to the state of Wisconsin. Descendants of Johann PULVERMACHER of Lind, Ahrweiler, Rhineland, settled in Wisconsin. Three brothers, Johann PULVERMACHER, Nikolaus PULVERMACHER and Michael PULVERMACHER, of Munk, immigrated and settled in Wisconsin. They were the sons of Paul PULVERMACHER and the 3x great-grandsons of Johann PULVERMACHER of LIND.
