"James' wife Ann nee Cutching married bef 11 Mar 1743 Thomas Shea.

Ann Shea died before 05 October 1769--

when Adm Bond for 200pd sterling posted by Joseph Puntany, (etc. Joseph Puntany was husband of her granddaughter Sarah nee Hollingsworth).

Sarah (Hollingsworth) Punteny was one of the people listed as Ann Shea's

"Nearest of Kin". "

From Creator Mar #47895972- Mar.28, 2015 gave me the below data.

"Sarah Hollingsworth was b. 25 Apr 1739.

Recorded at same time her sister: Ann Hollingsworth b.09 October 1743.

Daughters of George Hollingsworth and Hannah his wife,

St. George's Parish records, Baltimore County now Harford County, MD.

Sarah (Hollingsworth) Punteny inherited 1767 20pd current money from Thomas Shea, Planter, Balt Co.

James Hollingsworth d.21 November 1721, (St George's Parish record).

James Hollingsworth married 27 February 1714 Ann Cutching/Chitching, (St George's Parish records).

Known children:

1. George b.17 Nov 1715 mentioned above;
2. James b.28 Feb 1718, d.30 Apr 1740; and
3. Thomas 03 Dec 1718 - (All St George's Parish records.)

Their suggestion:

"The youngest child of Joseph [son] was John Punteney--Find A Grave Memorial# 21305714

He was my g g g g grandfather - He married Anne Veasey/she is buried in Indiana.

John came to Iowa to live with his sons during his last few years and is buried here.

I believe the middle name on John's memorial {Henderson] is not correct."

Chet Snow's SOURCES were left on the profile............ The entire Huguenot Emigration / Diaspora was very complex and so many records were destroyed in France and Europe (as well as money confiscated!) that it's next to impossible to find exact genealogical references today, alas. But do not give up hope! Someone may discover who Joseph's father's name was - and what did Joseph name his 1st born son ?? Sometimes it would be his father's first name, sometimes his mother's father's first name... It is a hint.

So go ahead and do put the stickers in (The one on George H Puntenney is placed OK but it should be a Descendant sticker) . I can check them later if you want. Best wishes, Chet Snow

Help It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Carole or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:

It doesn't even tell me who my Mom/Dad were but on one page it did say,

" my furthest ancestors were John Alden/Priscilla"

(I could not find the SOURCES to prove this) but my ancestors that are of the same year and same place would be the Hathaways... on my Mom's side....
