What parish?

When Degerfors parish was separated from Umeå landsförsamling in 1768, Rödå was supposed to be included in the new parish of Degerfors. In reality, the Degerfors husförhörslängder (abbr Hfl; meaning house examination record books) earliest date is 1794, and a lot of records concering Rödå and/or related places remained in the Umeå lfs' books throughout the 1800s. This can be very confusing and the information for respective parish at Riksarkivet is poor.
