(a) Using the supplied documents as your starting point, first create a timeline for Tom
Jenkins. Include all dates and places of events and dates and places of residence provided,
which include information relevant to Tom himself. Add in some regional and / or national
context in the form of historical events, together with sources of your information.
Look at the documents in more detail and write a couple of paragraphs describing what they
tell you about Tom Jenkins? (20 marks)
