| ... ... ... is managed by the Remember the Children project. Join: Remember the Children Project Discuss: remember_the_children |
- This template is for use on profiles that are part of a sub-project of the main Global Project.
- They should only be used on profiles that are of importance to the project or need to be PPP'd and managed by the project. They are not for every single child.
- Most profiles will use the stickers listed below.
Stickers
The Remember the Children Project uses these three stickers:
Sticker Code This sticker creates the ribbon: {{Died Young|Ribbon}} Sample Profile This sticker is appropriate for older children that died young: {{Died Young|Swing}} Sample Profile This sticker creates the one with pink/blue ribbon with heart: {{Stillborn}} Sample Profile Do you prefer the flying baby graphic: {{Died Young}} Do you prefer a completely different graphic than these? Sticker Art and Backgrounds Click Here - See Template: Died Young or Template: Stillborn for instructions on using these stickers on a profile. NOTE: These stickers do not add a category
If an infant died before he or she could be named use what is on their death record according to their conventions, otherwise use Unnamed Infant. Do not use Infant Boy, Baby Girl, etc. There is a Sex at Birth field for this.
(Please be considerate in the use of the angel/cherub sticker as it might be unsuitable to put angel imagery on profiles belonging to a religion which doesn't support angels.)
Additional Profile Stickers
Multiple Births
{{Multiple Births|2}}- Stillbirths, premature births, and infant mortality often show up in connection to multiple births which makes this a useful sticker to keep in mind. You can change the number based on how many children were born.
Basically... {{Multiple Births}} then type a pipe (|) with the number: 2 for twin, 3 for triplet, etc.
Maternal Mortality
Maternal mortality was unfortunately common only 100 years ago and is sadly still not uncommon in the modern world. (Use with caution as it tends to define a person by the way they passed rather than what they accomplished in life.)
{{Maternal Death}} {{Maternal Death|[[Doe-1|John Doe]]}}... ... ... died from complications arising from the birth of John Doe.
