I know from other records that:

  • He Married Janet McMicken in Ernestown
  • Sarah Isobel Ward was his only child - born in Ernestown in 1851
  • I think he was visiting Sarah when he died - can't be sure ..
  • Checked the 1851 and 1861 census but didn't see them on there ..
  • I looked for marriage records of James and Janet - didn't find any
  • I looked for marriage records of Sarah Isobel Ward and John Muma - didn't find any
