Information:

Rest Haven Cemetery is located in Downtown Alpharetta directly next to Alpharetta Animal Hospital and a large Parking Garage. This Cemetery dates back to the 1860's but a large majority of historical documents listing the burials have been lost and/or destroyed.

Although it appears there are many areas left for future burials, it has been decided to halt future burials. There is not a clear map or documentation of previous burials and no way to fully determine open space for future burials. The City of Alpharetta owns and maintains Rest Haven Cemetery and believes there are approximately 1400 graves. Sadly, many of those graves are designated only by rocks and will remain unknown. Rest Haven burials are a "Who's Who" of the Founding Members of the City of Alpharetta.

Parking is available on the street (metered) or in the Alpharetta City Parking Garage. This is an active area of the City with many walkable restaurants and stores nearby.
