Lat 38, lon 75 30, fell in with the wreck of a small schr about 20 tons, sent the boat for examination and found her on her beam ends, apparently empty, no rigging or sails, and could not find her name. Passengers, W. Freeman, Esq. capt. S Helms, Mrs. Ann St. John, of St Stevens, (Alab.) and 2 children.

June 21, lat 25 45, long 84, brig Monroe, 16 days from N Orleans for New York. 26th, off Cape Florida, ship Richmond, 19 days from N Orleans for New York, with loss of foretop mast, and other damage in a gale. 28th, cff Martinelli Reef, schr Curlew, 17 days from Mobile for N. York. July 6th, lat 38, long 73 30, ship Triton, Wilkinson, 33 days from Liverpool for Baltimore, who generously supplied us with a few potatoes -- The T. had spoken two days before, ship Otho, from N York for Antwerp, with loss of her foretop mast and head of her mainmast, and it blowing hard at the time, could render her no assistance.
