Now these are to Certify whom it may Concern, that for the full accomplishing of their said Intentions this twenty ninth day of the first month in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninty three, they the said Samuel Garrigues and Sarah Parker appeared in a public meeting of the said People of the Northern district of Philadelphia aforesaid, and the said Samuel Garrigues taking the said Sarah Parker by the Hand, did in a solemn manner openly declare. that he took her the said Sarah Parker to be his Wife, promising through the Lord's Assistance to be unto her a loving and faithful Husband until Death should seperate them, and then in the same Assembly the said Sarah Parker did in like manner declare, that she took him the said Samuel Garrigues to be her Husband, promising through the Lord's assistance to be unto him a loving and faithfull Wife until death should seperate them. And moreover they the said Samuel Garrigues and Sarah Parker (she acording to the custom of Marriage assuming the name of her Husband) as a further confirmation thereof, did then and there to these presents set their hands,
