Samuel Lawry was born 8 May 1801 in Perranzabuloe, Cornwall, England, and passed away on 10 Feb 1888.

During his life Samuel kept diaries in which he wrote quotes, his own poetry, and other notes. Two diaries have survived and are currently in the possession of a descendant of Samuel's, John, in England. It was John who scanned and sent the pages here which are black and white. The pink pages were found years ago on ancestry and I have no idea who the original uploader of them was. Those pages are missing, ripped out of the original diaries in John's possession.

In uploading them here I hope Samuel's precious writings will be found by some of the many descendants of the Lawry's alive and well the world over.
