Reply to Tracey:

I suspect that this is one six-year-old, listed twice on The Ships List with different spellings. I haven't tried (yet) to work out any more about her in South Australia under that surname (any spelling), only that she didn't appear any further as a Fischer. It might help to find out Mrs Rössler's maiden name - if it turned out to be Petras, perhaps she was Mrs Fischer's sister and it would make sense to be helping her brother-in-law with one of his six kids.

From my page (trying to keep conversation about this passenger list together for now):

On 15 Jun 2019 at 16:03 GMT Tracy (Frisken) Hope wrote: Well, that would help explain the unnamed Fischer child, for sure. Does that mean she was listed twice, or I've missed a reference in either the Hamburg lists or the shipping list?

The unknown third child in the Fischer family is listed in The Ships List as "Wilhelmina Juliana (Roesler)" aged 6. Is it possible that this is the same person as Wilhelmine Juliane (6) listed in the children of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Rössler ? She is not mentioned in the Biographical Index of SA entry quoted on Johann Christian Friedrich Fischer

EDIT: She IS in the bio index as "child (1844-)"
