About the Project

The Sanders Name Study project serves as a collaborative platform to collect information on the Sanders name. The hope is that other researchers like you will join the study to help make it a valuable reference point for other genealogists who are researching or have an interest in the Sanders name.

As a One Name Study, this project is not limited to persons who are related biologically. Individual team studies can be used to branch out the research into specific methods and areas of interest, such as geographically (England Sanderses), by time period (18th Century Sanderses), or by topic (Sanders DNA, Sanders Occupations, Sanders Statistics). These studies may also include a number of family branches which have no immediate link with each other. Some researchers may even be motivated to go beyond the profile identification and research stage to compile fully sourced, single-family histories of some of the families they discover through this name study project.

I'm not a Sanders, but I have found an old book I am studying in and thought maybe the previous owner might have family here at WikiTree so I thought best way to find out is to post an inquiry here. I have pictures of the front end of the book with name etc., and I am unable to figure out his possible date of birth. I do know the book came from England and was published in1896 by a company in New York but has things that say it was sold probably in London England and was owned at one time (1899) by a "R Bruce" before Harold S. Sanders owned it. It's title is:

"Grudens Complete Concordance to the Old and New Testaments and the Apocrypha" "The Students Edition"

(this edition is credited to author "Youngman" on the book's binding, and I found it in a second hand book store in Raymore Missouri United States-online)

If this rings a bell, or you are interested, or possibly related, please let me know. It would be interesting to see how this book made it's way to my hands... Thank you Rusty Aldrich-2574
