Visit the web site. Visit the museum and library. There are historic buildings; a historic cemetery; a research library containing well-organized collections of a variety of materials including church records, surname files, genealogies, newspaper clippings, transcriptions of a variety of records, books relevant to the history of the area and more. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. It's a lovely and historic area.
