Goals

This is a One Name Study to collect together in one place everything about one surname and the variants of that name. The hope is that other researchers like you will join our study to help make it a valuable reference point for people studying lines that cross or intersect.

Task List

The goal of this project is to ...

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Mary Shelley Hough.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

  • Find the ancestors of the Scholle family who migrated from Osterode in the late 19th century.
  • Find mariage information.

Will you join me? Please post a comment here on this page, in G2G using the project tag, or send me a private message. Thanks!

My great-grandparents Ernst and Ernestine SCHOLLE emigrated from Osterode-am-Hartz to the USA around 1890 with their several children when my grandmother was 3 years old. Not sure if Ernst was born in Osterode as I once heard he was from Berlin.

Any cousins or other people interested in or with knowledge of this surname are welcome to this group.
