The Scotland Categories Team works with the Categorisation Project to maintain categories relating to Scotland. Our current goal is to add the Category Information Box (CIB) to all Scotland regional categories. Please only work on one county at a time. Here is a chart of our progress:

Is this team responsible for all Scotland-related categories or just geographical categories? I had run across the "Scotland,_Royalty" and "Scottish_Royalty" categories and both seem to pertain only to monarchs although the latter is a sub-category of Royalty, which states that it includes royal family members rather than just the reigning monarch. The Scottish_Royalty category also includes a link to the FSP Scotland_-_Scottish_Monarchs that seems to be self-explanatory.

I did notice that "Scotland, Royalty" is not claimed by the Scotland Project whilst "Scottish_Royalty" is.

Returning to the geographical aspect . . . Has there been any progress? The chart on this page is still empty.

We're working with a group of members from each of the UK countries to bring they Royalty categories into a standard format. It's a work in progress.

At present, I am your category team! Is there a specific one you need?

Hello. I was interested in having a category added for Westray, Orkney. Scotland Categories and Resources directed me to contact a member of the team here, but nobody’s listed on the table. Where should I go from here as to seek having a category created?
