Merrilyn Hunter born Howard 11715. i found a lot of information i was missing about this disaster. John Cox was married to Margaret Kirkwood confirmed by DNA
I found John Cox name mentioned in the Scottish Mining Site information about the 1877 Blantyre Disaster. If you search the page, you will see his name in a large group of names. http://www.scottishmining.co.uk/55.html
