The goal of this project is to link Scott County Mississippi Families in one big tree. Link your WikiTree to this group or message a member and help us see if all of Scott County is indeed related! It will be fun!

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Dorothy Vance.

Here are some of the tasks that need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

  • to encourage Scott County resident participation
  • for an SCGHS membership drive
  • entering information to trees
  • finding those with WikiTrees and Scott County ties

Will you join me? Please post a comment here on this page, in G2G using the project tag, or send me a private message. Thanks!

I would love to be a part of this project as I do have Scott County ancestors! How exciting to be able to work on families in a county area - should be really fun and interesting.
Hopefully we will have all the kinks worked out soon, glad to have you with us
Add the tag "Scott County Mississippi Families" to your page and you can follow the progress. Thank you for your interest!

We are so excited about our new project. It's going to be so much fun to see how our ancestors have linked us together through the years without us ever knowing it. Just think of the new cousins we are going to find through our new "Scott County Family Tree." Who knows, if you are reading this...."You just might be my cousin!"

Looking forward to seeing our membership grow so we can answer our big question......"Are we all related in Scott County, MS?" The good thing is that it doesn't matter where you live now. If you have family roots that started in Scott County, MS, please join us and help make our tree's branches grow.
