Seigneurs de Picquigny

Seigneurs de Picquigny

Seigneurs de Picquigny

The goal of this project is to explore, research, and map the history of the Seigneurs de Picquigny, from whence the Pinckney name originated (there are two Pinckney's that signed the US Constitution).

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am William Catambay.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

  • Translation of French works (the original Picquigny's are from France, and much of the history written about them is in French).
  • Shared knowledge of all things related to the Picquigny family tree, including Pinckney's that migrated to America.
  • Help with cleaning up existing Pinckney records, fact checking, common sense checking, and duplicate merging.
  • Pre-1500 badged members who can help update profiles prior to 1500 (which there are numerous).

Will you join me? Please post a comment here on this page, in G2G using the project tag, or send me a private message. Thanks!
