Kennedy Road farm, located about 6 miles out of Scottsville, Ky. It was 80 acres, purchased in 1886 by Washington Roberts, and he moved his family there from DeKalb County, Tennessee by Wagon. The farm is now owned by Norma Simmons[1]

Willie Calvert, lived of 3/4 acre of the land left him through his mother/grandmother He remembered wiht the cemeteyr was, as there was a pond near by, which had been dug out near it for water. He, and his family, have lived on the land continuously.

There are no actual tombstones in the cemetery, the graves are marked only by stones placed over the graves. The land around the cemetery became a cow pasture, as Washington had used it as farm land. Even though the cemeteyr was gated, the cows still kep knocking down the tombstones so they quit placing a fence near it.

The area is now only identified by the pond, however Willie confirmed most of the Roberts were buried there and he remembered the following.

  1. Roberts, Washington - December 21, 1837 - December 5, 1924.
  2. Roberts, Amanda (Mary Ann according to Willie).
  3. Roberts, Zilpha Silvia (do Wash & Mary).
  4. Jordan, Brack (married to Amanda's sister).
  5. Wilson, Lovie Dean (d/o T.A. & Della Roberts).
  6. Calvert, Bobby D.
  7. Calvert, Pellie Gene.
