Shannon Brethren cemetery is located on the outskirts of the village of Shannon, Illinois. Over 1,300 people are buried here; the earliest graves going back to the 1850's.

The cemetery was originally part of the Church of the Brethren (also known as Dunkard Church). Members of this church were some of the earliest settlers in Shannon. The congregation terminated its services in 1932.

The cemetery was deeded to the Village of Shannon in 1936, and it became Shannon Brethren Cemetery. It is still in use today.
