Sharing Your DNA Matches

This is to help you share your DNA matches that are on Ancestry.com. This should only be done with someone that you trust with your genealogy. This does not give them access to your DNA data. It just shares who your cousin matches are.

Where are my DNA matches?

You may have different pages bookmarked for Ancestry. Some people have it go to the Search page automatically, like below:

Others have it go to their home page.

Either way, the part of the menu that you need is "DNA" at the top.

And then you click on "Your DNA Results Summary"

Adding a person to your matches

Click on the "Settings" button in the upper right.

Now scroll down past Display Preferences and you will see "Sharing Preferences." Click on "Change."

Then click on "Add a person."

Click on "Collaborator" and then "Send Invitation."

The person you have entered will get an email notification that you are sharing your DNA matches. And that is all you need to do!

See the Help Page list for other WikiTree tips.
